Hi, using Messages – I want to see the Registrant Name in the subject line of the email I receive.. I tried this:
Registration Details: <[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FNAME][PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_LNAME]>

But, it doesn’t work. My Subject Line just comes in as:
Registration Details:

And/or – I would like the Registrant email address to show in my inbox as the “From” … I have [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_EMAIL] in the “From*” field, but it arrives in my inbox as “Super Billiards Expo” — I can right click and see the proper email – so, I am guessing that it is a WordPress or server issue? Seems like the “From” is populating as my website name? Can I over-ride that somehow?

Hi there,

Registration Details: <[PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_FNAME][PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_LNAME]>

Which message type is this and which ‘context’ are you editing?

And/or – I would like the Registrant email address to show in my inbox as the “From” … I have [PRIMARY_REGISTRANT_EMAIL] in the “From*” field, but it arrives in my inbox as “Super Billiards Expo”

You want the email to show as it’s FROM the registrant? I’m not sure how that is going to work.

How you fix this depends on which context you are editing:

Seems like the “From” is populating as my website name? Can I over-ride that somehow?

Other plugins can (and do) filter wp_mail to set specific settings, so even if EE is set up correctly something else may be hookin in to change it.
