Hello,

I just took my client’s website live and she can’t process any payments- she just gets a message that says “Security header is not valid”. I already doubled checked the Paypal pro settings to make sure her API creds are correct and they are. She also has a Secure certifiate on her site- could it be anything else? Is there anything she has to do in PayPal’s end?

Hi Kimberly,

Thanks for checking into the credentials.

I ran some searches on this issue and the prior reports on our support forums were due to incorrect credentials. Could you try regenerating the credentials and then applying them again into Event Espresso –> Payment Methods –> PayPal Pro?

The step above will deactivate the existing set and create a new set.

Also, double-check that there isn’t any extra spacing before or after them.

Then this should work as expected.

Hi Orlando, thanks for the info.

My client just hear back from PayPal because she was having trouble regenerating the credentials so they told her the following:

“I talked to Paypal and they say that API is not going to work and you have to use the payflow Pro module with the shopping cart.”

Do you guys have any info on how to integrate this with Event Espresso?

Hi there Kimberly,

Could you provide some insight on how this was fixed? For example, was this an account configuration issue?

On PayPal Payflow Pro, we are developing a payment module and expect it to be available later this month.

The difference between PayPal Pro and PayPal Payflow Pro is that with PayPal Pro, PayPal is the merchant account provider and the payment processor. With PayPal PayFlow Pro, you can bring your own merchant account and then PayPal will handle the payment processing.
