Hello,

Some people trying to register have been getting a security error message some don’t. It happens when they click on the Register button from the registration form.

We don’t have WP-Super-Cache.
Using EE3- just upgraded to 3.1.37.2.P

Any idea please?
I tried to understand the other posts, but sorry..
Thank you very much

Hi! Thanks for getting a head start on this issue.

Who is your web host and did this recently begin to happen?

If so, this may be a conflict with another plugin on your site. Do you see the same issue occurring with only Event Espresso running?

Hi,

It’s been on and off like this for 2 weeks.
Some registrations work, but some don’t.
Merchant account said things are fine on their side.
Web host tech said everything seems fine too.
Recently changed SSL certificate. Maybe coincides with security error message people are receiving.
I can see this issue only with EE. It’s only when people click on confirm registration.

Thanks

Hi there,

Can you check to see if the error occurs if you do not load the custom templates from /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates?

Hi,

Programmer changed the permission on that path. It’s working now.

Thanks

Hi, I have a question on the change just in case another member runs into this. Was the following path set to the incorrect permissions?

/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates

Hello,

On path /wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates all files have permission 644 and it should be 755.

Does that answer your question?

Yes, it does. Thanks again for sharing!
