Hi this year we were really looking forward to buying the Seating Chart add on. However,we have sponsorships and several places we give discounts. We are a film festival and last year numerous of our guests recommended for next year for them to have the capability to reserve their seats.This is something we were looking forward to.
But recently it came to my attention from other forums that the Seating Chart add-on does not have compatibility with Social coupons or Promotions codes or any form of being able to have discount codes.
Is there any way around it? As I as well did not find anything on the add-on’s page. I found some one I believe with the same issue and it seems they presented him with a quick fix. Here is the link: https://eventespresso.com/topic/seating-chart-with-ticket-discount/
Would I be able to do the same? It was this that came to my attention that just currently holded me from buying the add-on. However, if what is mention on that page is correct or if their is a solution to it. I would definitely buy it.

Hi, the seating chart addon out of the box does not allow discounts. You would need to apply the edit that was shared:

Thank You I really appreciate your support Lorenzo! One last concern. Now this being said signifies I would be able to add discount codes to the Seating chart Plugin. So I will go forward and buy it. But however my license expires in November, 2014. Does this mean I would buy the plugin and then only have it for about 3 months and it would expire with my license and then I would have to buy in November again (3 months from now)? Or what would you recommend?

Yes. If you want to keep the a la carté plugins, you will need to renew them as well at time of the license renewal. If you would like to discuss this further, please email us at sales@eventespresso.com.
