Hi,
As I understand the Seating Chart for EE4 is on the roadmap – but I have just purchased EE4 developer and would like to develop a custom Seating Chart with the help of developers.
Can you kindly recommend the best way to integrate a custom Seating Chart on EE4 – any guidance, tips, advice is very much appreciated so we can study the possibilities.

Hello, unfortunately we do not have any specific recommendations at this time as we have not started development for a seating chart.
We are considering using an API with an existing seating chart solution such as seats.io (edit by Lorenzo to correct URL).

Hi Lorenzo,
Did you mean seats.io ? … anyway its great that its being looked into, except time-frame is not clear and we want to give it a shot.
So to clarify, we want to look in to developing a seating chart of our own. EE4 has many addons, so this might be something along those lines.
Im sure there is a way of doing it manually – so just wanted to request any guidance, tips, or advice on how to go about it. Please feel free to suggest any technicalities. We are very familiar with PHP and JavaScript.

Sorry, we haven’t started any planning or development on this at all. You are welcome to try building a seating chart integration. We’ve provided a number of action hooks and filter hooks throughout the code that should assist with that. All EE action hooks are prefixed by AHEE_ and all filter hooks are prefixed by FHEE_.
Also the developer.eventespresso.com has a lot of information about our systems.
