Hello, When looking at the registrations the search bar isn’t working (when searching someones name)! It shows no results found?!?! Interestingly though, if you apply a filer (ie. payment pending) it works! I’m not the main user of the system but there was also reports that when the “payment pending” filter was applied it also showed some paid transaction but I can’t see this happening in my tests. Thanks in advance. |
September 23, 2015 at 10:06 am Hi, what version of Event Espresso are you currently using? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/ee4-changelog/ — |

Hi Lorenzo, 4.8.10p… wordpress is on the latest version to. |
Hi Declan, Within the name field are you using the full name? If you enter only the first name does it return results?
Depending on how the registration was created it is possible to have Pending Payment registrations with ‘Complete’ transactions. If you view Event Espresso -> Registrations, filter to pending payment, do some of the records have a green TXN date? |
some of the records have a green TXN date. The name field, I tried a first name… it didnt return any results?! |
Go into one of those transactions (click the date) Does it show an approved payment? |
Going into the green TXn date transactions… they’ve had a manual payment made against their name (the person who deals with the payments has updated them to paid) – should they not be in the approved filter, not pending payment? Thanks, |
Yes they should, another user recently reported the same issue and we are working on a fix. Manual payments are not updating the registration status, you’ll need to do this manually from the Event Espresso -> Registrations. Click the checkbox next to the registration that have had a manualy payment applied. Then use the bulk options to Set the registrations to Approved. You may want to use the Set registrations to Approved and notify’ option to also send the registration Approved message. |

Hi… I’ll pass this on thanks. |
Here’s a couple of screenshot to show exactly what I mean. You can change the status from within the registration itself – http://take.ms/0A2De Or in bulk within the registrations list – http://take.ms/OXDUT In regards to the search not showing any results, which view are you in? |
Interestingly regarding the “payments pending” see the screenshots – it blue but when i click in it its complete? Searching Screen shots attached… the names im searching for definitely exist! |
That’s the Registration, so the blue bar on the left is the ‘Registration Status’, the color of the TXN Date is the ‘Transaction Status’. Click on the registrants name to view the Registration, you’ll find that is Pending Payment (blue), clicking on the TXN Date takes you to the transaction, that’s Complete (green).
Yeah that’s odd, I’ll do some digging into this and see whats happening. Do you still get no results with a capital S? |
yes its the same regardless of case… pretty much nothing works with no filters applied?!?! |
September 29, 2015 at 10:22 am Hi, have you recently upgraded? We’ve made some improvements to the search: Fix issue in Registrations and Transactions list view where searching for a first and last name combination doesn’t return any results Also the registration status updating with a manual payment has already been fixed in the current release. — |
