Where can I find screen shots of what the calendars look like please?
I know there are different options and different things it can do, but a few screen shots of possible calendars would be great.

Thank you.
Is it ok that I’m going to install it on our dummy site?
I’ll fill it out now.

Ok, that worked … and WOW … but I need to figure out how to setup/restrict the users who will be creating events, (our staff may need a few restrictions also [lol])
Is there a Super Admin login so I can learn how to restrict users, what to allow and how to set it up?
I know that’s asking a lot, but before we invest we need to be 100% positive this is going to work for us, we’ve tried others and been burned. We must be able to restrict users from a lot, on the test site I see things that I don’t want our users to see.

Also when I look at the attendees, it tells me that Payment status is Complete, but then tells me it’s not.
Which it isn’t complete. I click to pay using paypal to see what it was going to do, but closed it once I got there.
And under the complete it says I haven’t paid – that’s a little confusing. lol

Hi Edee,

For your first question. We have the Roles and Permissions addon, and for more advanced permissions options we have the R&P Pro add-on. Both of which are in use in the Test Drive Website. We allow access to certain pages of that site using the R&P add-ons.

Regarding: “Also when I look at the attendees, it tells me that Payment status is Complete, but then tells me it’s not.”

It looks like the even that you registered for has the default payment status set to completed (screenshot: http://www.screencast.com/t/LtBbfg6nPZ)

Thank you for your response. Sorry for the delay, holiday weekend turned into a pre-holiday week.

I think we may be tripping over terms. I just saw “Staff” – Staff seem to have their own short codes and little profiles. Can you set permissions for staff?

We are working with the local hockey club, rec center and fitness center (among others).
Could we set them up as ‘Staff’ to enter their own events?
Restrict them to only see the what they have setup?
Then users would be the people signing up for the events.

Could we also turn off thing like “Expresso News” so the staff wouldn’t see those?
And remove options from the “Create event” for example, remove “Create a post”?

One last thing, I’m pretty sure this is what we need, but I’m wondering if there is a return policy? I’m assuming there is a product Key that can be canceled, but I want to make sure that this is exactly what we are going to need and that’s a little difficult without having full access.

Thank you for all your help.

The return policy is under #6. Refund Policy here: https://eventespresso.com/support/terms-conditions/

There is an option under User Permissions: “Anyone can create a post when publishing an event?”, which you can set to “No”.
I don’t believe there is currently a way to turn off the “Espresso News” in the right sidebar on admin pages.
The default role “Espresso Event Manager” has
“Access to selected admin pages below and personal events/attendees.” (From the User Permissions admin page)

Just realized you have a Full Event Espresso Test-Drive. I am going to take advantage of that. Thank you all for your help.
