I was wondering if there was a way to have a options selector on the registrations form we run a first aid school and sometimes we need to have billing go the the students company and other times we need the billing to go to the student! i cant seem to see a way to make this more stream lined see ex below of work flow Stage 1 Stage 3 Stage 5 After Course is Complete Addition Features that Would be Useful to my Client is a Attendance Form that we could design a few Templates for Different Courses. Contact DataBase that would retain the Collected Data If a Company Has a record i Realize there is a lot of request here are there any existing plugins that will work like this with ee4 or am i going to have to build one? |

Hi there, There are no existing add-ons that will do what you are requesting and this is going to require significant custom development for it to work in the way requested above.
As this is stage 1, you want to show the student information registration form, before they’ve selected their tickets? I’m not sure how that would work with the current setup.
EE sets up the ‘Primary Registrant’ (the first registrant’s details) which is also considered to be the user that will be managing the payments for the group. With the above you want a separate ‘purchaser’, which is not easily support as it stands. What you could do is add a ‘Billing information’ question group to the registration form and collect all of the above details, then use those billing info details in the emails etc. You could add your own JS to add a copy button so the user can copy the ‘registrant’ info if it’s the same.
With the current setup of EE, 1 ticket == 1 registration, so your in a checking and an egg situation here, you’ve just collected a single users registration details, but now want to show the ticket selector to select how many registrations are created… then show the registration form for the additional details needed?
This could be possible with ‘Admin only’ question within the registration form which the admin can then manually update.
Thats going to need to be custom, you could use a WP user and link all of the registrations made on that account to that WP user, but EE currently does not, so again, you’ll need some custom development for this. Without a significant amount of development, the way this could work is…. Create a ‘Company Account’ as a WP user. Step 1 – Ticket Selector. Will that work for you? |
