We are having trouble linking to the test environment of SagePay and keep getting error messages saying invalid IP address. We have set up our IP addresses with SagePay’s test servers. We cannot see where to set live or test servers for SagePay in Event Espresso.

The site is currently in development with only a holding page showing. Please let me know if you need access to help us with this.

Hi Ant,

We cannot see where to set live or test servers for SagePay in Event Espresso.

This is done within Event Espresso -> Payment Methods -> SagePay -> Debug Mode On?

If that is set to Yes SagePay will use the SagePay test server, if not it uses live (be sure to save the settings after changing this)

Also we’ve also seen a few times where the IP Address reported within cPanel (or similar) was not the IP address used within the curl requests made by the server. I’m not sure why that was the case but if you continue to receive ‘invalid IP address’ errors double check the IP is the right one.
