Hi Olivier,

It turns out that the event RSS feed feature is built in to Event Espresso 4. RSS feeds of the events are generated automatically once you start creating events.

Ok good !!

And what is the URL to show the RSS ?
And is there filtering options ?

The EVENT rss feed is available at: domain.com/events/rss

I can’t speak to the filtering options, but let me know if you have questions after looking at that on your site.

Ok thanks !

is there a way to change the template for this ?

I tried duplicating the file from :
/wp-content/plugins/event-espresso-core-reg/modules/feeds/templates

to :
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/modules/feeds/templates/

I also tried to copy it there :
/wp-content/uploads/espresso/templates/

but my changes are not showing,
any idea ?

Is it a general rule that any template can be overriden in the /uploads folder ?

Thanks !!

Hi, that isn’t a general rule as it is only available for certain areas of Event Espresso such as the Invoice.

Thanks

So the RSS feed is not customizable ?

Not currently but I can create a feature request and share with the development team.

What would these customizations look like to you?

I would like to override the template in the /wp-content/uploads folder, that would be great 🙂

Alright, I thought you were referring to something else.

You’ll be able to move a copy of the template files to a safe location in wp-content/uploads/espresso in a future version of Event Espresso.
