Alright, I’m struggling to get R+P Basic/Pro set up on my site.

I have added every capability to the Event Admin role, and yet I still cannot access any Event Espresso settings.

I gave Event Admin the permission ability to access General Settings and Attendee pages, and edited the Event Admin role to include everything.

I log into an account and Event Espresso doesn’t show up on the dashboard menu, and if I enter the direct link, I still cannot get to the pages (You do not have sufficient permission…).

My ultimate goal is to create a class of users that can access attendee data, edit attendees and download the spreadsheets. Any help is appreciated!

Hi,

SO to clarify: you gave a user the role Espresso Master Admin and in the Event Espresso > User Permissions menu page you set the different parts of EE to Master Admin?

Looks like a fluke — I have edited the Permissions page again, and Event Espresso appears in the menu now. Who knows — it didn’t do that before!

Is it possible to give such limited roles that this User type can only see attendee info without being able to edit events? I seem to be in a back and forth of all or nothing.

Hi, that level of permissions is not currently available with the Roles and Permissions pro add-on.
