Scenario:
1) User purchased a set of tickets, paid with credit card, and completed transaction.
2) User returns to purchase more tickets and this time chooses to pay via check.
3) User presented with message “After clicking “Finalize Registration”, you will be given instructions on how to complete your payment.”
4) There is no button that labeled “Finalize Registration”. There is a button labeled “Update Payment Options”

This presents a very unclear checkout process. Do I have something configured incorrectly that is causing this mislabeling? How do I resolve?

Hi,

It sounds like something on the server is misconfigured because normally the session would clear and the 2nd purchase flow would be exactly the same as the first.

I’m not sure how this could be resolved though. If you have a caching plugin activated, you could try deactivating it to see if that makes a difference.

Josh, I disabled cache and went through the process again. This time, step 3 (payment) displayed only the “Finalize REgistration” option. The entire form for payments was not displayed.

I was using an account that I had used previously to test registration. It seems to be behaving very oddly, but I’ve cleared cache (browser and server) as well as disabled the server cache site-wide.

We can continue this discussion in your other topic. There might be a plugin conflict or some other configuration on your server that’s preventing PHP sessions to behave as expected.
