This is on https://ceyou.org/registration-checkout/#checkout using the Multiple Event Registration add-on plugin.
Pressing that button only brings you to the top of the page. It doesn’t bring you back to the cart.
How can we fix this?

Hi MD,
There are a few possible causes to this issue. You can rule these out one by one:
1) A theme conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily switching to the default WordPress theme.
2) A plugin conflict. You can rule this out by temporarily deactivating any other installed WordPress plugins.
Once that’s narrowed down, you can let us know the name of the theme or plugin that’s affecting the cart button and we can investigate further.

Yes, the button works when I deactivate the theme and switch to the default.
The theme is Divi by Elegant Themes.

This is one of the more annoying things about the Divi theme. It has a script that’s disabling that button. Why it does that I do not know.
Anyway, the theme has a growing list of “Don’t disable these buttons” in the Divi custom.js file. Here’s a link to a github gist that shows how to add the Event Espresso Event cart button to the “Don’t disable theses buttons” list:

Since the change will get wiped out on the next theme update, it will be best to contact Elegant themes and maybe they can make a permanent fix.

I don’t see that file in the Theme editor – /wp-admin/theme-editor.php. Is that file only available through FTP?
