Hi. I received this message from a client who I’ve installed your system for. She’s quite happy with it, just a few little things like: “Quite a few people who have bought tickets have called me to say that they made a mistake in the beginning as to how many tickets they want to purchase and then when they go back to make an amendment the system just keeps tallying the number of tickets. Then if they go to delete it all and re register they can not as the system seems to remember them and again brings up there total ticket count which is in correct. This has happened on numerous occasions and the only way we have found to get around it is for them to register in another name or I have to hold tickets for them on the door (which isn’t the scenario that I want). Any ideas? |
There should be a registration cancelled page with the [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] shortcode on it. You can include a link or button to this page by including it in a widget (I’ll include a screenshot of an example from one of our test sites) or possibly include a button/link to this page on the main registration page. When a user hits that page, their session will clear. |

My install of EE doesn’t seem to recognize the [ESPRESSO_CANCELLED] shortcode. See: http://www.kupromotions.com.au/registration-cancelled/ It just shows the shortcode. |

Currently running Event Espresso – 3.1.15.P |
That’s an outdated version of the plugin. You’ll need to upgrade to get this functionality. The current version is 3.1.26. .15 was released over 8 months ago. |

Thanks. That seems to have solved the problem. But it did create a new problem. Now “Please choose a payment option: On-site Payment Processing” is presented along with the PayPal option. We only use PayPal and don’t have any facility to process credit cards other than that. I checked the ‘payment settings’ tab and the only ones that are activated are PayPal and PayPal Pro. Why is this showing “On-site Payment Processing” up?

PayPal Pro is for onsite payments. If you are not taking on-site payments via PayPal Pro (which is a different service than PayPal Standard) you should deactivate this payment option. |
