Hi, i’ve done some tests and now ready to go live, how then do I reset the transaction ID? removing all transactions does not help. thanks1

Hi Mustaza,

A transaction id is typically related to payments. If you are wanting to remove the “old testing data,” then follow the steps below.

Move a registration to the trash. Then delete it from the trash (permanent delete). This will remove the sold information from tickets on your events and also remove the transaction information.

Thanks, I’m referring to the registration ID, i guess: http://grab.by/AKWy

I’ve emptied trash for all transaction but the Id still not reset

Hi,

The registration ID comes from the database, and is Auto Incremental (meaning it automatically goes up by 1 each time).

The only way to reset this from within the plugin is to go to Maintenance > Reset/Delete Data tab and reset the data.

THIS WILL DELETE ALL EVENT ESPRESSO RELATED DATA: attendees, events, settings, everything.

Alternatively you can reset the count via the MySQL database itself. The table in question is prefix_esp_registration (prefix is normally wp but can vary, so check it) and you can reset it using something like this as a guide: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8923114/how-to-reset-auto-increment-in-mysql

You can use a plugin like Adminer or software such as PHP My Admin (available via your host) to achieve this.

As always, BACK UP your database before attempting anything.
