Reserved tickets not clearing

I have an event that’s open for sales right now. The quantity limit is set at 12. It shows 9 tickets sold and 3 tickets as reserved, and thus, it is displaying the event as sold out. The 3 reserved tickets have been displaying for well over an hour. Going on three hours now. I tried to Reset Ticket and Datetime Reserved Counts under Maintenance, but I get an error message that says it us unable to handle the request.

Hi,

I checked the site and I can see there’s a caching plugin activated. Can you go into edit the event, republish it if its status is sold out, then clear the caching plugin’s cache?

It doesn’t appear that I can republish it. I choose the status of “published,” but when I hit “update,” it reverts to “sold out.”

OK, can you cancel the non-paid registrations first (set their registration status to Cancel), then re-save the event?

There are no non-paid registrations displaying for this event. The quantity limit is set at 12. We’re showing 9 complete registrations and 3 reserved. However, only the 9 that are complete show up under registrations for this event.

If you can complete this form we can investigate why the Reserved tickets reset button returned error message that says it us unable to handle the request. Something on your web server may be preventing those reserved tickets to get unset.

Thanks for sending. I manually cleared the reserved counts from the two upcoming events that were prematurely sold out. Then I added some URI Exclusions to the Comet Cache settings page to hopefully prevent these from happening again.
