Some of our events have reserved seats appearing for a ticket. We do not add those in or need them. Some are for 10 seats which is a lot in a 20 person class. This makes it so only 10 people can sign up instead of 20. How do we delete the reserved seats count?
These automatically self-delete after 1 hour to allow time for the registrant to fill out the registration form and pay (and prevent a class from overselling). If you find they don’t delete, you can reset the reserved count by going to Event Espresso > Maintenance > Reset and there you’ll click the Reset Ticket and Datetime Reserved Counts button.
It depends on whether or not the site’s web server has a working task scheduler. If the task scheduler isn’t working then the task to delete the reservation after 1 hour will not run. After you reset the reservation count does it show a message that any reservations were deleted?
Resetting seemed to work. Or I told them to make a new datetime. Thanks.
