Hi,

I have two dates for an event that are locked and I’m not able to clear the reserved tickets or delete the ticket and create a new one. The dates are May 14, 2019 and May 28, 2019. Neither of these dates have actual registrations.

Also, I changed the Maximum Number of Tickets Allowed Per Order from 10 to 25, however, when I do a test registration on any of the dates for more than 10 tickets, I’m still receiving an error message that only 10 registrations can be done at a time.

Thanks for your help in advance!

Hi there,

It seems you shared the URL to your admin. I went ahead and marked it private. Can you please share a screenshot of the admin where the event dates are locked?

Thank you! I’m not finding how to attach/insert an image to this post – can you help?

Hi there,

For screenshots you need to host the image and add the link here, for example you could use the media library on the site, upload the image there and then add the link to it here.

We have some examples of how to add screenshots here:

The two tickets that are locked have been archived, that only happens when theres registrations on the ticket and then you make a change to the ticket, so did you have registrations and have now removed them?

With regards to the limit of 10 your mentioned, although you’ve set the datetime/ticket limits, in the sidebar to the right, just above where your screenshot shows is a ‘Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event:’ setting, its that set to 10? If so, you need to increase that limit.

They were brand new and added – there were no registrations for those archived events. How can I remove them/close them?

Also, the maximum number of tickets on the right side is set to 25, not 10. It’s still only allowing 10.

They were brand new and added – there were no registrations for those archived events.

That’s strange, they would normally only be archived if you make changes to a ticket that has registrations related to it.

The original ticket archives and a duplicate is created with the new changes applied to preserve the relationship between the registrations and the original ticket.

How can I remove them/close them?

We don’t have a user interface to remove them as normally they shouldn’t be removed.

Are you comfortable with PHP?

May I ask what you mean by ‘close’ them? As they are archived they wont be visible on the front end.

Also, the maximum number of tickets on the right side is set to 25, not 10. It’s still only allowing 10.

Does the same happen if you temporarily stop using the custom ticket selector template you are using?

The ‘Maximum number of tickets allowed per order for this event’ is shown within the ticket selector here: https://monosnap.com/file/vF912tLvKWhms4I8RZNuiwO6lqajZO

Notice it shows 10, if you’ve updated that in the event and it still showing 10 as it is now, then its an issue with the ticket selector template your using.
