I get this error and not sure why when resending the registration details.

Hi, that appears to be from a WordPress plugin for Postmark app and not Event Espresso.
Are you using the latest version of the plugin? It may need to be updated. If that doesn’t help, then Mandrill will also work and they have a free tier up to 12,000 emails per month.
