Hi,

Is there a way to run a report based on the answers to a specific custom question?

We have a single ticket price that includes all activities. In order to get a count per activity (i.e. meet and greet, lunch day 1, lunch day 2, etc) I created a checkbox question with all the values. I’m now finding that the answers come over in a single comma-separate field and I can’t easily filter to get the counts and attendees for each.

Has anyone else encountered this and found a solution? Besides taking multiple steps after exporting to Excel, which would need to be done each and every time… totally ineffective use of time.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks!
Kelly

Hi Kelly,

Another approach that may work for your reporting is instead of a single question that captures all options (where the data is one field with comma separated values) is you use one question for each activity and set a Yes/No option value. This way you’ll have columns where you can get a tally of the number of Yes replies for each column.

Thanks Josh! Excellent solution. Sometimes it’s so obvious you can’t see it LOL

This worked perfectly and I was able to preserve the answers of those who registered already by removing the question from the group.
