Hi,
We follow your guideline for repeating events [workshops], i.e. we set up one event, with multiple event dates and multiple corresponding tickets to “solve” the issue of repeating events / workshops
I briefly scanned you guideline for virtual events, but it’s not clear to me how we can schedule in line with our repeating workshop setup multiple virtual events, since each ticket (date) corresponds to a unique virtual meeting url, e.g. in zoom ( or password code)
It seems as if we need to make multiple virtual venues for each new event we plan… or change the e-mail notification templates for each new event, with the specific virtual URL required…
I guess we are looking for a virtual venue field in the ticket description of events, which would allow us to add the corresponding virtual venue URLs / passcodes for each ticket and a corresponding shortcode to merge this with the e-mail templates. This way the registrant that buys a specific ticket (in our case a new event date) will get the unique URL for the corresponding virtual event.

Hi Gur,
We currently don’t have an option to added additional fields to each individual tickets/datetimes so to have unique values on each registration you would need separate events to store the values within custom fields on the event itself.
May I ask, how many values do you need to store on for each individual ticket here?
As mentioned we don’t have anything built into EE currently but I can open a ticket to investigate what we can do in a future version.

Hi,
I guess for now we will have to copy virtual events, instead of creating multiple tickets for a repeating event…… and wait until your repeated events feature is ready…. it’s up to you whether adding extra custom ticket fields is useful as a feature
