I am building an event calendar for a client who is running private (one on one)sessions 12 times a week. So far, I have entered in these private sessions as individual events, but am wondering is there an easier a faster way to do this? Can I enter them in as one event with multiple datetimes? Is it possible for the user to register and ‘block out’ a datetime?
What do you suggest is the most efficient way to do this without manually entering the events every week?
Can I enter them in as one event with multiple datetimes?
Yes you can, each datetime will show as an individual event instance on the calendar and clicking on any of those events will link back to the same event.
Is it possible for the user to register and ‘block out’ a datetime?
Block out a datetime as in that specific datetime shows as sold out?
They can, but to do that you would need a ticket for each datetime and the user would need to select and re-register each day if you want individual datetimes to show as available or not.
Or am I misunderstanding what you are trying to do?

Create a single event with multiple datetimes will be the most efficient but it depends how you want registrations to work.
you can have the user register onto a single ticket which applies to all datetimes within the event in a single step, but as above is you want to show individual datetimes as available or not you would need separate events.
