Hello,

I’ve just reset your Support License Key. In a few minutes, you’ll receive a confirmation to your email address on your Event Espresso account.

If you are using Event Espresso 3, please login to your WordPress admin and locate Event Espresso in the admin menu. Then click on General Settings. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and locate the area for Support License. Now copy the existing key. Then erase the existing key and click on Save Options. After the page refreshes, scroll back down to the Support License area and paste your key and click on Save Options.

These steps will refresh your Support License Key for Event Espresso.

Then backup your WordPress and try another update.

This is getting quite frustrating with EE updates and recurrent issues with your license keys inexplicably being rejected….

I followed yours and Garth’s instructions to

1) remove the original license key
2) save changes
3) re-insert the new license key

I am still getting the following message after attempting update:

“The update process is starting. This process may take a while on some hosts, so please be patient.

Enabling Maintenance mode…

Updating Plugin Event Espresso (1/3)
An error occurred while updating Event Espresso: Update package not available.

Hi,

I am really sorry about this, we have been working hard to finally stop any issues with the updates, but it appears it hasn’t fully worked.

Is it possible to get your login details in order to look into this in more detail? Seeing an affected site would help us to narrow down the issue and hopefully resolve it permanently.

If so, please send them via https://eventespresso.com/send-login-details/

NOTE: login details need to be Admin level and FTP details are appreciated.
