My client would like to hide a few events from the calendar view. I tried to create a category called “private” add that category to the events I wanted to hide and then add the shortcode to only display all other categories: [ESPRESSO_CALENDAR event_category_id=’20,23,30′]. The issue I am running into is that the items I want to hide are also listed under other categories. I was hoping the private category would override the other categories on those events. Do you have any suggestions?

Hi,
If you have some events assigned to a “private” category, then adding the following to your stylesheet should hide them in the calendar:
#espresso_calendar .private {display: none;}
