I cannot figure out how to remove the sidebar (tags, categories etc).. the theme lets you remove it for pages and posts.. but I do not see any place for event to turn it off and on!?? http://chaicenter-org.securec79.ezhostingserver.com/reunion
I can send admin login via email..
Hi there,
Please do not send the admin log in via email. You can remove items from the sidebar by going to the WordPress Dashboard > Appearance > Widgets and remove the items from the main sidebar widget.
You can remove the sidebar entirely if your theme includes a full width page template. If that’s the case, you set the Page template setting to use a full width page template the event editor.
a) yes if i remove there it will remove from the blog and news as well, I only want to remove from the event espresso pages…!
b)I dont see a “full page” template.. that was my first idea when trying to resolve.. all other templates seem to ruin the event part itself.
Your other options are to make a full page width template or switch to another theme that includes a full page width template. It’s quite possible that if you contact the theme developer they may be able to help.
Another option is to use Jetpack or another plugin that has widget visibility capabilities. I use Jetpack to conditionally show/hide widgets on different post type pages/archives and it works well with EE4.
ok thanks. Ive seen jetpack but never used it or know what it does.. thanks ill try it.
