I wish to remove our expired event and still be able to access information from it. Eg: Registrations, Transactions etc. I suppose if I run a CSV Report and save it to my computer I would have that info? Suggestions? Ray |

Hi Ray, EE doesn’t allow you to remove just the event as the data related to it (Registration, tickets, datetimes etc) is basically then abandoned within the database. If you want to keep a copy of the data outside of the site you’ll need to use the CSV as you mentioned and then remove the registrations and event from the site. However, EE doesn’t allow you to remove an event if registrations are assigned to it, and to remove a registration you need to remove the payments assigned to its transaction. To do that you need to edit each individual registration, view its transaction and click the trash icon next to the payment(s) within it to remove them. Then back on the registration list, you’ll be allowed to remove the registration, after all registration have been removed, you’ll be able to remove the event. |

I have created New Events that have not been published yet. When I view one of these events and click on the Registration Menu it shows me the registrations from this years event? I don’t really have 10 to 20 hours spare to remove these individually so can you tell me if once I publish these new events and participants start registering for them I will not be able to see the OLD Registrations from this years event>\? |

Can you post the full steps you are taking to view the registrations, please? Which registrations link are you clicking? It sounds like your are viewing the event, then going to Event Espresso -> Registrations, which lists all of your registrations. To view a specific events registrations you go to Event Espresso -> Events -> {hover over event name} -> Registrations (it will appear below the event name on hover). That will then list the registrations for that specific event. |

That already happens as each individual event’s registrations are available under each specific event so to view ‘Archived’ registrations you view the registrations for an expired event rather than all registrations, using the same method I posted above. Event Espresso -> Registrations is used to list all registrations and can be used to search all registrations. If that section showed a specific timeline of registrations, or the most active events registrations for example, then once you have more than one event running at the same time, how would EE know what registrations to display? So if you want to view a list of registrations for a specific event you need to filter the list down to view the registrations for that event. |
