New user here asking a newbie question. I’ve done my best to research this in the forums but haven’t found a definitive answer except for maybe the Read More button is part of the Theme. However, I don’t see the Read More button is a standard part of any of my posts or pages, so I’m confused as to where it comes from. Essentially this is a button that is rather redundant in that it links (#) to the same page that it resides on (i.e. the event page). Here’s a link to the page. Any suggestions on how to remove this? https://www.primarycarenetwork.org/events/migraine-webcast/
We’d need to look inside the theme’s templates to know how it got added to be able to tell you how to remove it. Can you upload a copy of the theme then post a link so we can download it?
Ok so here’s how you remove the button:
1) You go to your WordPress dashboard and go to Swenson > Blog Options
2) Scroll down to the “Other Blog Options” section and set “Show Read More Button” to Off
3) Click “Save Changes”
There are an awful lot of settings within that theme so it helped to take a peek at the code for a clue.
