You can remove the dollar sign and currency code so it’s not displayed by following these steps:

1) You go to Event Espresso > General Settings > Countries
2) Set the Currency Sign field to this value:  
3) Add the following to your custom stylesheet (No custom stylesheet? Install the Reaktiv CSS Builder plugin)
