We’ve just had one person sign up 3 individuals for an event. They entered each individual with separate sign up forms and used different email addresses for each attendee. However, two were confirmed by email to me but the third didn’t come by email but did show in the attendee list. So the other two must now be manually entered.
Any ideas as to why this might happen? I can’t think of anything other than the system got confused with 3 sign ups in a short space of time!
May I ask is your website running Event Espresso 3 or Event Espresso 4? If it’s running Event Espresso 3 what likely happened was that one person hit the back button and went back to sign up the other 2 individuals after signing up the first one.
The solution for this is they’ll need to click on the link that says “Add Another Registration to This Event”. Or you can update the site to Event Espresso 4 which has more mechanisms in place to prevent this from happening.
