At some point between the day of the event and now, about a quarter of my registrations have disappeared from the site. On the day of the event, we printed out registration reports from both events that reflected our total, and now it is missing. We logged on about a week after the event, and noticed this discrepancy. Any guidance would be helpful, as I need to report on financials and this is a serious issue.
Yes, the event is still there but registrations are missing.
I am getting the list of registrations by going to the registrations tab under event espresso. I’ve also tried going to each individual event and then looking for registrations with the same result. Finally I tried the CSV report and then are missing from that as well.
I don’t believe the database was ever backed up. I do have the filtered CSV reports which were saved right before each event occurred and show all of the missing registrations.
Since that’s some very important data I can recommend setting up a backup process where the database gets backed up on a weekly basis (or more often than that). There are a number of free WordPress plugins that can be used to make regular database backups.
