The registrations are only displayed in the WordPress Dashboard, but not on the homepage. Thus, all tickets are constantly for sale, although some have already been sold. |
Hi there, I’m not sure I follow, can you add a couple of screenshots of what you are seeing, please? https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

https://aerialpassion.at/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Event-Espresso1.jpg But on the next side I see one registration pending In the description I can see 1 registration but nothing sold And on the last one you can still register for 3 places, although one has already been sold As long as I don’t set the registration to confirmed , all seats remain free. How can I change it so that the registration is automatically confirmed? |
Thats a count of Approved registrations, Approved registrations are the only registrations that apply to your ‘sold’ values (with one exception of reserved tickets which we’ll get onto in a second).
Yeah that’s 1 Pending Payment registration, we don’t count those towards your sold limit. That registration may never actually complete so its not counted unless the user completes the payment, at which point it will switch to be be Approved and be part of your sold values.
1 has not been sold, its pending payment. Has the user paid for that ticket through whatever payment method you have enabled within EE?
So you want all registrations to automatically be switched to Approved regardless of payment status? |

“So you want all registrations to automatically be switched to Approved regardless of payment status?” When it is the only way to get the registrations confirmed – then yes. Please help me how to get the registrations confirmed regardless of the payment status. I work with event espresso since a few years, I´ve had the older version and there it always worked with the automatically confirmation. |
You need to set the ‘Default Registration Status’ (DRS for short) on the event to be ‘Approved’. Each individual event has a setting for it in the editor, the ‘Event Registration Options’ metabox: https://monosnap.com/file/ng6LQy3Pn5977wCAPN0AICEQR5Mgye That sets the DRS for that specific event, there is also a default option for this. Event Espresso -> Events -> Default Settings. Under Default Settings you’ll see ‘Default Registration Status’. That allows you to set what any new events create moving forward will use by default. |
