Registration Step could not be completed refresh page and try again

I just upgraded to EE4.8.19p and I’m getting this error.

The site is very generic, as it is only used to register occasional events and the last time we used it was about 4 months ago with no problems.

Now as soon as I enter the attendee information and click proceed to payment options I get this error.

Not sure even were to begin to figure this out

hbfevents.org is the site and the event is http://www.hbfevents.org/events/2016-co-ed-volleyball/

Hi Randy,

I looked at the registration checkout page with Safari developer tools to see if there were any errors and I did not see any. The error also appears nearly instantly after trying to continue through registration checkout.

Could you temporarily deactivate all plugins on your site and reactivate only Event Espresso 4 and re-test?

If it works, then one of the plugins that was deactivated earlier may be triggering a conflict. Try reactivating a few plugins and retesting again.

Continue the steps above until registration checkout breaks or until you find the source of the conflict.

I just deactivated all plugins except EE4 and it still failed.

Are you securing the WP-Admin?

As in is the WP-Admin using HTTPS?

Yes it is using https. It has worked in the past.

Just an FYI, I backed out the latest update EE4.8.19 and restored my entire website (its really small) to 2 weeks ago. Now I have EE4.7.9 back in operation. After rebuilding the event in the old version the registration proceeded correctly.

Hello Lorenzo,

I did get one email from Tony and I replied to it yesterday explaining that I restored the website using a backup from 2 weeks ago and then rebuilt the event. After doing so, the registration works properly using an older version of EE4. I believe the version I’m using now is 4.7.9.
