I have set the “Default Registration Status” to “Approved” in all of my events. The problem is that tickets are being marked as sold even if the customer hasn’t completed the process by making a successful payment. Payments are going through Mijireh.
I have checked your support documentation for Registration Status setup which says:
“APPROVED : The attendee has been approved for the event, and the capacity for the event is reduced accordingly. This will automatically be set if the attendee has completed payment, or has registered for a free event. It is possible to set a registration’s status to Approved before receiving payment.”
How do I change the settings so the ticket will only be booked and marked as sold if the attendee has completed the payment and actually successfully paid their money via Mijireh?
You can change the Default Registration Status setting to Pending Payment.
One note about Mijireh: You may need to visit the transaction page in the admin for the transaction to get the status to automatically update after payment because with Mijireh there is often a delay.
