Several customers are reporting emails that say payment “failed” and registration is showing “incomplete”, however, payment is going through Stripe and customers are being charged. We didn’t have issues before, this is a recent issue.
You’ve mentioned not having issues ‘before’, but may I ask before what?
What has changed on the site since this started happening?
Do you know if the user is shown any errors? If you check the server’s error logs from around the time of the registrations do you see any errors there? (Your host usually has a section in your control panel where you can view errors).
If you find one of these registrations in Event Espresso -> Registrations and click on the TXN Date column to open up the Transaction, can you see the Square payment listed?
If so, what ‘Gateway Response’ value does it have?
(Thats just an example of a failed payment when using the Braintree payment method, yours will be different)
