I posted an event, and when we received enough Pending Approval registrations to meet our ticket limit, we chose the option to save our event as “Full”. However, the next morning, we received 2 new registrations.
We are stumped as to how this could have taken place. Is there anything we can check to figure out how they managed to do that?
After this happened, we changed the ticket limit to be less than the number of tickets sold, but it seems odd that we needed to do that.

How did you do that?
Event Espresso doesn’t have a ‘full’ option so I’m wondering what you changed here.

That would be the way to prevent additional registrations normally, or set the event to no longer display the ticket selector.
Ok, we reached out to one of the people who registered, and they said that they still saw the event as open for registration. They were in Brazil. We are in the US. Others in Brazil saw the event as open also. So, eventually I cleared the cache for the page and it synced up. We have never seen that happen before.
Ok, so the ‘Full’ option you are choosing is setting the Event Status to be ‘Sold Out’, which should switch all ticket sales to display as sold out.
However, if you have caching enabled and people are being served a cache page with the ticket selector showing available tickets, if they click to proceed through those and you have spaces available on your ticket EE will process those.
