My registration page is not working. When I try to enter registration info, I get this error: An error has occurred: Unable to save registration form data for the form input: “email_confirm” with the submitted value: “my.email@myserver.com” (note: I used a dummy e-mail here)
I’ve just tested a registration on your site and can confirm the issue there, however, I noticed you are using Event Espresso 4 Decaf, is there a reason you aren’t using the regular version of Event Espresso?
You have an active license so generally, you would be using a .p version (4.10.13.p for example), .Decaf is the ‘limited’ version. The first step we could recommend here is to update to the latest version and confirm if you have the same issue.
Create a database backup of the site (all of your data is saved to the database so it’s good practice to regularly back it up and also create a backup right before you update a plugin just to be safe).
Download the latest version of EE4 regular from your account page here:
Save the .zip to somewhere you can access it (ie desktop).
On your site go to Dasboard -> Plugins.
Deactivate Event Espresso Decaf (you will not lose data, but event registration won’t work whilst it is deactivated).
Then go to Dashboard -> Plugins -> Add new -> Upload plugin.
Select the .zip file you just downloaded from the site and upload.
That should install Event Espresso 4.10.13.p, activate that version.
If the site goes into maintenance mode follow the steps to complete the migration.
Retest and see if you have the same issue then?
