When clicking “Register Now” on our page, it takes you to a different looking registration form, after entering in registration info it should take you to the page to enter payment details but it redirects to event listing page
There are four pages that Event Espresso 3 uses for event registration and each of them has a specific shortcode. If one of those shortcodes is out of place or is used multiple times, then you may experience issues with registration checkout.
Could you double-check those pages through Event Espresso –> General Settings –> Page Settings?
Also, check that the [ESPRESSO_EVENTS] shortcode is not in use multiple times on your WordPress pages. An easy way to check would be to go to WP –> Pages and then search for [ESPRESSO_EVENTS]. If you have multiple pages appear in the results, then please remove the extras and save changes so it is in use only once on your site.
I checked and the issue is not with the shortcodes.
The formatting of the page changes entirely when clicking to register for the event and will not allow the user to advance to the payment page – it redirects them back to an event listing page.
I looked into this using the credentials that you sent via the support token form, and I’m not able to reproduce the issue you report here. After I fill out the registration form, it takes me to the next steps, including the Payment option page.
That said, the https plugin that’s currently installed on your site is out of date and no longer supported. If you can resend the submit a support token form and this time include FTP details, we can update your site to use a more current https plugin.
Glad you got it resolved Katelyn. What was the issue in the end?
