We just went live and I’m having a problem with PENDING registrations eating up a seat at our events. Either they pay or they don’t. I dont’ want the pending, declined or not approved to show up on my event registration list. What can I do to fix this?
Hi, those can’t be removed as those are valid registration statuses in Event Espresso 4. However, I can confirm that a registrant/attendee that has not paid will not be counted against your ticket quantities.
For example, if Ticket ABC had a quantity of 10 and 5 registrants registered and paid, then there would be 5 remaining.
If 5 more registrants started registrations but did not pay, then there would be 5 remaining.
The exception to the rule above is if you’ve changed the default registration status to be approved. If you do that, that all registrations would be approved regardless of if payments have been made.
