Hi Matt, I assume you have double-checked the payment merchant to confirm no payment was made, correct?
So I’m guessing you have the Zoom details within the Registration Approved message type, so the registration must have been Approved at some point. If it has no line items attached to it, it will have no monies owing and that may mean it was approved at some point. However, the registration now showing cancelled is strange, was that done manually? I’m not aware of anywhere within our code that will set the status to cancelled. Can you add a screenshot of the transaction details page, I’m interested in the ‘Transaction Items’ section. https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots |

So another admin set it as cancelled so we can put that aside. But the individual was able to register successfully and get the event notification details wo payment being made. That is the only issue. |

Hi Matt, So, unfortunately, I can’t tell you how this has happened and with an admin action now taking over it’s not possible to know more about what has happened. When a registration is cancelled within the admin the ‘line items’ for that registration are removed. The only time we’ve seen the above happening with EE on ‘normal’ registrations is when the line items have been removed/overwritten and that is usually due to some form of caching server side. With the admin cancelling the registration I can’t look into the line items for that transaction to see if anything stands out as EE has already altered them with that action. Has this happened since? Do you have any caching enabled on the site/server? |
