When the customers register and hit the payment button it comes up as an error.

Hi Angelo,

Did registrations work and now do not or is this a fresh install of Event Espresso?

If you enable WP_DEBUG does the registration show any errors?

It was working, then it stopped. I had a couple registrations work and now I’m getting calls that they can’t register

Can you try testing the registration form with the maps plugin deactivated?

Hi Angelo,

Your theme (Cherry Framework) is loading a very out of date copy of the jQuery library. You can try this plugin to make it load the current version of jQuery:

Hi there,

Did anything change between when it worked and now? For example have you changed/updated the theme or installed new plugins?

There’s a few problems on the site currently.

Your theme is loading a really old version of jQuery (1.7.2) as opposed to using the version that ships with WordPress (currently 1.11.3) which will cause problems.

The google maps JS is still being added to the site multiple times, if you have disabled the plugins then the theme is also adding this)

Which theme are you using?

Can you temporarily switch to one of the default themes such as twentyfourteen and retest this?

I did upload it and its still coming up with the error: An error Has Occurred: A valid Transaction couls not be initiated for processing

Is that plugin still active? If so, the Cherry Framework is breaking it. There’s another solution that you could try that’s posted in this gist:

I deactivated everything, and it still doing the same thing. It works on some desktops but no mobile

I figured it out. It was the captcha plug in. Once I removed it, it started working like a charm. Thanks

Thank you for letting us know.

When you say the captcha plugin do you mean a separate plugin from Event Espresso or the recaptcha option within EE?

Option in EE, I turned it off

Hi Angelo,

The reCaptcha option in Event Espresso 4 is the newest reCaptcha that is available from Google.

Could you share if you tried this solution when troubleshooting?
