Hello, I am trying out your system to manage entries for a sailing regatta we will be hosting in August for kids. I would like registrants to print their form and bring hardcopy with a signature and date on the bottom of the form. Will you please advise on the best way to go about doing this? Thanks, Andy |
Hi Andy, Currently EE does not have an option to print out the registration form, although the user could print out the confirmation email and sign that. Would that work? Another option is to create a required checkbox question within EE that user must check to continue the registration, you can also include a link to a waiver form etc within the question name so that the user can print and sign that, then bring that with them on the event. The linked document would not have the registration date within it but you will have a record of the registration within EE and an acknowledgment that they agree to the terms before registration. Would that work? |

OK you have given me some ideas – thank you very much. I have another question while I have your attention. I would like to show other important information (links to waiver forms, sailing instructions etc.) above the clickable registration options. Is this possible? Thanks again! Andy |
Hi Andy, Could you share a screenshot of where you are wanting to show those links? Here is how you can share a screenshot with us: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/troubleshooting-checklist/#screenshots From what you shared, I’m thinking that you could repurpose the introductory text above the registration form. However, I want to be sure to avoid any confusion. — |

Hi again Lorenzo yes I will but first I think I need to get out of this Maintenance mode Issue. But to describe when I go to my event registration page it shows the ticket options at the top of the page and any other text / links below the ticket options. I would like to show the other text/links I create above the ticket options. Andy |

Hi Lorenzo I saw there was an update to EE and this now turned off the maintenance mode so I’m all set. Thanks for your help. Now back to the original quesiton… My event page shows the ticket items first and then my text/links below the ticket items. How can I place my text/links above the ticket items? Thanks for all your help thus far! Andy |
Hi Andy, There is an option to re-rder the event elements on the single event page. You can go to Event Espresso –> Events –> Templates. Then look for the Custom Display Option and set it to Yes and save changes. From here, you can use the drag and drop option to re-order the event elements. If your ticket selector is re-ordered after the event description, then you could add those links to the event description. Otherwise, here is an example of how to add information about the ticket selector using some sample coding: https://gist.github.com/lorenzocaum/48fe37fc9d0451b77a87fa6bb836c1da It can be added to a site specific plugin (https://eventespresso.com/wiki/create-site-specific-plugin-wordpress-site/). — |

OK I think we’re all set – thanks to everyone there for your help. I have a quick question. We run a number of sailing classes throughout the summer – probably 20 classes in total and maybe 200 students. Do you think your system would be able to handle this? Thanks again for all your help. Andy |
Hi Andy, Those attendee numbers will be fine. — |
