In the back end of EE have set up the order of the registration questions correctly. However, when registrants receive registration form to complete questions are not in the sequence I set up.

Hi there,
Just to confirm, can you post the details of how you set the question order?
I’ve just run through a couple of registrations on my test sites and changed the order of the questions to confirm it works as expected, which it did, so before we start troubleshooting I just want to check how you are setting the order.

My apologies Tony. So instead of assuming that the order was correct, I took a look at the order and see that I must have moved things around and not noticed…. so that the questions were not in the correct order.
Everything is OK now I think.

The initial problem I began this thread with does indeed exist.
I have set up the order of the registration questions correctly. However, when registrants receive registration form to complete, questions are not in the sequence I set up.
Above you ask me how I set the order of the questions. Not exactly sure what you mean by this but let me try to respond.
1. develop questions
2. Develop question groups
3. add questions into question groups (in the order I want them to appear to registrant).
4. add question groups to event.
Please trouble shoot

I can’t reproduce this on any of my test sites, the questions are displaying in the correct order I set them.
Can you link me to a test even I can use and let me know which questions are out of order?

the above is not a test registration. It is an actual registration.
Here’s what happens (and it’s a bit different than I’ve described above)
1.registration form questions in back end set up in correct order.
2. when registrant completes registration form, questions appear in correct order for registrant (my comments above indicate that questions appear incorrectly for registrant — my bad for not initially going through a test registration myself).
3. when admin reviews registration from back end by clicking on “view registration details” under actions column, there is one area where questions and answers appear out of order.
4. I can be more specific about the questions but would rather not, as this is a public forum.

Hmm, ok, so the questions are ordered incorrectly only within the admin on your site.
So far I’ve been unable to reproduce this, can I take a look over one of the registrations that has this problem? (Or my own if it reproduces the issue on your site) I need to narrow down the specific questions to see if I can spot a cause.
