The client apparently used to get the address of the people who signed up for classes, but now, they do not – I thought maybe it was because we weren’t asking for that on the registration form… so I made those fields mandatory – in the Registration Form settings in EE… but they are not showing up. See screenshot: http://prntscr.com/ixr2pz
What am I missing? And will this even do what I hope?
Thanks guys!
Shelly
Thank you for including the screenshot, that helps.
It looks like what you need to do is check the box next to “Address Information” in the Questions part of the event editor. There’s some more details about how to set up questions (with a short video and more screenshots) in the documentation:
is there a way for us to do that across all the events, rather than having to go into each one and check that box?
No not really, short of manually altering entries in the database but that’s fraught with peril. It’d be much easier and safer to go in and edit the events.
Will this then result in getting the mailing address info onto the PayPal receipt?
No, you go to Event Espresso > Payment Methods > PayPal Express and set “Request Shipping Address” to Yes, then click the Update settings button.
