Can I create a registration form with the form being sectioned off similar to this https://kvanic.wufoo.com/forms/pats-student-symposium-march-31april-1-2017/?

Hi there,

Its not really clear what you are looking for but if you are using EE4 you can create something similar using Question Groups: https://eventespresso.com/wiki/add-questions-event-espresso-question-groups/

Each ‘section’ would be a group so you would ned to create custom question to go into each group, then select the correct groups on the event – http://take.ms/1CBvc

You can also set the order of both the question and question groups to allow you to customize the output.

Is that what you are looking for?

First, we are using EE3. What I am referring to is

WORKSHOP SESSIONS
Anatomy Dissection Lab:
Please identify for preference below (rank selections)

Is this something that I can replicate?

In EE3 its very similar, you can create questions and question groups in the same way.

That section just looks like 3 dropdowns within a question group, yes you can create that. However if you are trying to have the dropdowns select ‘workshops’ (Event within EE) then no its not possible with customizations.

Tony, All I want to do is be able to include headings above the dropdown questions.

Like:

WORKSHOP SESSIONS
Anatomy Dissection Lab:
Please identify for preference below (rank selections)

The closest without modifying templates would be like this – http://take.ms/3Y2L8

To do that you just set the question group name and description to show on the registration form and use those values for the output – http://take.ms/1M33C

Tony, your example shows exactly what I want to do. Where do I get the Group Identifier from so the head appears in the correct location on the form?

I’m sorry but I’m not sure what you mean.

The ‘Group Identifier’ field shown in my screenshot is automatically generated from the question group name when you create the group so if you need that value you can edit the group and copy the field.

Are you targeting the groups ID on the registration page using CSS?

You can also set the Group order to allow you to set the order in which the groups are displayed.

I guess I am not understanding the process. I created a new group (WORKSHOP SESSIONS). I added the appropriate dropdowns to the group and selected the new group on the Event Overview page. The group does not show on the form.
