Registration Export: Overpaid, Failed

Hey guys, could you explain how/why most of my transactions show up as Overpaid?

Also, I have it set to automatically approve all registrations, so why might some show up as Failed/Pending Payment.

My only 2 gateways are Check and Paypal.

Hi Wes,

Do you have sales tax rates set up in your PayPal account’s settings to be automatically charged based on the location of the ticket purchaser?

If so, that would explain why you’re seeing the overpaid status.

Did you look in the transaction overview for the individual transaction that has a failed status for the message from PayPal under “Gateway Response”?
