Registration errors if special characters are used in text fields

We have had errors with registrations, and it appears to be when there are special characters in the text fields at checkout (i.e. ‘ or ?) and sometimes when that’s in the title of the class. Is this a well known error?

No that’s not a known issue.

What errors are you getting when special chars are used?

Do you have an event that consistently shows the error that I can register onto?

We just had a location report this again today. The title of the class they were registering for had all of these characters in it: – / & ! so I had her remove the / to see if it would work. However, other registrations were able to go through with the title like that.

OK, do you know the exact error that was thrown and at what point during the registration?

We figured it out–there was a ticket that had extra spaces in it and then text after it. So the extra spaces were throwing it off. It was the 270 error.
