Ah, sorry, must have pressed the submit button early. That is link to the previous ticket I had opened for the errors we are experiencing. They seemed to dip down in frequency and then pick up again. While I did hear a report of the spinning cog issue happening once, the most pressing issue now is the error that appears with the message “Your form data could not be applied to any valid registrations”.
I’ve finally been able to reproduce this on the registration by filling out the form, waiting 20 minutes, and then hitting submit. I seem to be getting it quite reliably this way.
The last comment on that ticket regarded the memory limit. I found this line already in the config file:
define( ‘WP_MEMORY_LIMIT’, ‘512M’ );
Is there anything else you can recommend? Here is a registration link that I can get to fail in the way I described: https://www.saintjohnscamp.org/events/staff-application-2016/
It turns out there is a 60 minute limit on the registration session, so it seems premature to see that error after 20 minutes. Can you check with your host to see if there’s active caching running and if so, is there a garbage collection set to run every 15 to 20 minutes?
