Hi,
Is there a way to add the name/details of the person who paid for the Event in PayPal on the Event Espresso email message (Registration Confirmation) that gets sent out?
Sometimes we have a different person pay for things than is attending the event but I don’t see any option for that in the available Merge Fields, though there are other pieces that come back from PayPal.
Please advise.

Hi there,
Not currently.
Whilst it is possible to pull information from PayPal for the account used during the payment, we currently do not so that info has not been saved anywhere within the transaction, meaning the short answer is no, at least not without custom development which would also only work for registrations made after it was implemented.
It is likely possible to hook into the request made to PayPal and store that info as part of the billing info on the transaction, however, there’s also no shortcodes to display that information in the messages currently so you would also need custom shortcodes for the messages system to pull that info in and also handle situations where no data is available.
