I have looked in the forum and am unable to figure things out. When someone registers for an event they do not receive and registration confirmation e-mail. If I go in and manually queue things up it is sent no problem.
I am using mailgun for email and I can see all manual request in the mailgun logs but there are no automatic requests. It’s like they don’t get set. I have also tried to set send all in one request with no change.
When you take a look at the messages queue system (Event Espresso –> Messages) after a registration, then is it stuck on generating and shows as grey unless you manually switch it?
What is your current setting in Event Espresso –> Messages –> Settings under the generate and send option?
Event Espresso -> Messages -> Settings
————————————–
wp_mail function: green toggle
All messages are “active” with the exception of “Registration Multi-status Summary”
Generate and send all messages: On the same request
Cleanup of old messages: Forever
Taking a look at the Messages Queue I see the ones that are working have:
– View Messages, Queue for Resend, and View related Transactions ICONS
The ones that don’t seem to have sent look different:
– The “To” says “No Recipient” and the action icons are only the “Generate Now” wrench
Those emails from your screenshot, dated Jan 12, should get sent out if you manually trigger them. May I ask had the “Generate and send all messages:” option been changed to “On the same request” since that time?
Everything was working fine for a week or two and then it stopped working. When it stopped working I visited the forums and change the setting. It started working again but nothing I’m aware of was changed on the server.
It’s working now so I guess we can close off this topic and re-open it if stops working again.
Thanks!
