https://eventespresso.com/topic/event-isnt-sold-out-but-registration-count-goes-above-available-seats/

This is not a solution. If I approve registrations automatically, i can’t filter my registrations for “not payed”.

The filters in the registrations doesn’t work that good.
If i filter on “not completed” it gives me an empty list, but i have 10 “not completed” registrations.
A filter on the transactions would be nice improvement!

What could be one: after the available seats are full, create a waitinglist!

Hello,

Event Espresso considers a registration to be complete when it receives a status of registration approved.

Once that happens then the guest is counted against the ticket or datetime limit that is setup on the event basis. If you are automatically approving registrations, then it will be difficult to determine who is has not paid for their registration.

Have you considered offering only online payments or is bank transfer a popular payment option for your business?

We are working on an attendee mover and waitlists so those are on the feature request list for this year.

Bank transfers are 80% of our business, so no option there..

You can set the Default Registration status to Approved which will reserve a seat for every registration. Then you can check the Paid column to see whether they’ve paid or not.

Hi Josh,

I have 500 attendees for one event, and i organize 2 or 3 events in a month, so i can’t just take a look at the paid column every time, that would take me forever.
There needs to be a filter so i can filter the Paid column.

Thanks for the feedback. While there isn’t a filter, there is an option to show more registrations per page in the Screen Options tab. You can then view hundreds of registrations per page this way.

Yes i know, but it is still a lot of work to maintain..
If the filters would work properly i would not have to be doing that

The filters are working properly, just not how your expecting them to.

From the ‘Registrations’ list, your filtering registrations not transactions. An incomplete registration is a registration that a user has started but not yet entered contact details into.

An Approved registration with an Incomplete transaction is not an ‘Incomplete Registration’ and therefor is not shown in that list.

Currently you can not filter based on the transactions status within the Registration list. All of the filters apply to the Registration.

I have created an internal ticket to discuss, currently you will need to use the Paid column to view Approved registrations with Incomplete transactions.
